2206337 - SAP HANA DB: SSO SAML Logon between BI and SAP HANA Database Doesn't Work Sporadically

Symptom

While Trying to connect from BI to SAP HANA database via SAML SSO, you sporadically encounter the
following error message:
"invalid username or password"

Reason and Prerequisites

Reason:
Due to a bug in the coding of the SAP HANA database, the SAML assertion is verified successfully but the authentication will not finish properly.
Prerequisites:

• SAP HANA database Revision 100 or later
• SAML SSO is properly configured between BI and SAP HANA database

Solution

Apply SAP HANA database Revision 102 or later.
