1854130 - Cannot find company DB in the company list after importing a schema backup to SAP HANA if B1A solution is installed on original HANA server but not on new HANA server

Symptom

You have imported a company schema into the SAP HANA server. However, you cannot find the company in the company list of your SAP Business One client, version for SAP HANA.

Reproducing the issue

Scenario:

1. Back up a schema on an SAP HANA server where you have installed SAP Business One analytics powered by SAP HANA.
2. Import the schema to an SAP HANA server where SAP Business One analytics powered by SAP HANA is not available.
3. Open the SAP Business One client, version for SAP HANA.

Expected Behavior:
You can find the company in the company list.
Actual Behavior:
The company does not appear in the company list.

Solution

This issue may be caused by a missing sequence on the SBOCOMMON schema. To solve the issue, try the following  workaround:

1. Run the following query on the SAP HANA server:
   create sequence "SBOCOMMON"."ETL_S" increment by 1 start with 1 minvalue 1 maxvalue 4611686018427387903 no cycle
   
2. Import the company schema.
3. Open the SAP Business One client, version for SAP HANA and check whether the company database appears in the company list.
