1988368 - Trailing zeros removed in HANA based Information Spaces in BI Explorer

Symptom

• trailing zeros removed from measure values in HANA based Information Spaces

Environment

• SAP BusinessObjects Explorer 4.x
• HANA as data source

Reproducing the Issue

1. Create an Information Space with HANA as a data source
2. Include a data set with decimal values containing trailing zeros e.g. 16.40 or 17.30
3. When exploring the Information Space in Explorer the trailing zeros are removed from the decimal values e.g 16.4 instead of 16.40

Cause

Explorer does not offer text/number formatting capabilities at the moment and uses its default data source specific formatting

Resolution

This behaviour is currently by design.
