Reason and Prerequisites
This is the collection note for DSiM 2.0 HANA Content of Support
Package 3 and it applies to all objects in delivery unit
HCO_DDF_DSIMDDF. In section related notes, it refers to all notes
related to DSiM 2.0 HANA content which must be implemented, and it
contains the latest correction instruction of the delivery unit
HCO_DDF_DSIMDDF, reflecting the changes of all related notes. To ensure
that your DSiM 2.0 HANA content is up to date and contains all mandatory
corrections, deploy the latest note version via SNOTE into your system
as described in the following section.
Solution
Deploy the latest snapshot of HANA content delivery unit HCO_DDF_DSIMDDF into your SAP HANA system.
Prerequisites:
1.) All steps as described in DSiM 2.0 installation guide in section 4.3 are implemented. You can find the latest version on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/dsim.
Be aware that by importing the new delivery unit the existing delivery unit is overwritten and modications will be lost in case you have modified the standard content.
2.) Schema Mapping of SAP_DSIM authoring schema to the physical schema of the customer system is maintained.
3.) Privileges for importing are assigned to given user.
Step-By Step Instruction:
4.) Implement latest note version into your SAP HANA system. To transport the newly downloaded delivery unit within your system landscape do the the following:
4a.) Go to Programs->ABAP Development Tools for SAP NetWeaver, switch to the ABAP Perspective connect to your source system in the Project Explorer View.
4b.) Under "System Library" or under "Favorite Packages select "/DDF/STRUCTURE"->"/DDF/BW_OBJECTS"->"OTHERS"->" HANA TRANSPORT CONTAINERS"->"/DDF/HCO_DDF_DSIMDDF"
4c.) Take a snapshot and save the snapshot either create a new ABAP request or reuse an existing ABAP request.
4d.) Activate the Transport Container via the context menue.
4e.) Go into the corresponding ABAP backend system to Transaction se10 or se09 and release the request.
