2064969 - HANA DB : performance improvement for technical objects' hierarchies in Plant Maintenance

Symptom

You are using any transaction related to explosion of PM technical objects' structure lists (for example IH01/IH03, ILxx, IWxx, EG50 etc.). You experience very long runtimes or even time outs in some cases (especialy when hierarchy is complex or relevant DB view V_EQUI contains big amount of data).

Prerequisites :
- you run EHP7 and higher
- you use HANA

This is due to design error.

Solution

Import the relevant Support Package.

ABAP - SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SP5, HANA - Revsion 62
