1741720 - Explorer does not list activated HANA Analytical Views

Symptom

• Opening "Manage Spaces" in Explorer does not list any Analytical Views under the SAP HANA datasources, even if they are activated and working in HANA Studio.
• Run the following statement in SQL editor in HANA Studio: mdx select * from bimc_cubes > no results are returned.

Environment

• SAP Business Objects Explorer 4.0 SP02
• SAP Business Objects BI 4.0 SP02
• HANA IMCE Studio 1.00.28
• HANA IMCE Server 1.00.28

Reproducing the Issue

1. Login to SAP BusinessObjects Explorer
2. Open "Manage Spaces"
3. expand SAP HANA datasources > no Analytical Views are listed

Cause

The property "Multidimensional Reporting" of the Analytical Views in HANA Studio is set to "disabled".

Resolution

1. Edit the properties of the Analytical View in HANA Studio and set "Multidimensional Reporting" to enabled.
2. Save and activate the Analytical View
