1981503 - RTLDDF 1.0 SP01 Patch 1 with UDF on SAP HANA

Symptom
You wish to apply Demand Data Foundation (DDF) 1.0 SP02 with Unified Demand Forecast (UDF) SAP HANA content on top of RTLDDF 1.0 SP01, without applying the support package SP02 (SAPK-10002INRTLDDF).
You experience any of the symptoms identified in the SAP Notes delivered in this patch (see the References section for related SAP Notes).

Other Terms
SAP HANA corrections, SAP HANA content, SAP HANA views, SQLScript procedures, demand modeling and forecasting

Reason and Prerequisites
This is the patch 1 note for all DDF and UDF SAP HANA content to be delivered for RTLDDF 1.0 SP02 as corrections to RTLDDF 1.0 SP01.
This note can be applied, without the full support package SP02, on top of RTLDDF 1.0 SP01 using the attached correction instructions. This will only apply SAP HANA content for DDF and UDF.  If you wish to deploy the entire RTLDDF 1.0 SP02 support package, please refer to SAP Note 1921071.
This note includes the SAP HANA content objects in the HCO_DDF_RTLDDF and HCO_DDF_UDF delivery units.
This patch 1 note contains the DDF and UDF SAP HANA content for all of the following SAP Notes (also see the References section for related SAP Notes):
  • 1934624 - Null values improperly returned from VDM in model/forecast
  • 1958397 - Numeric external IDs in messages appear as all zeros
  • 1961352 - ERP Promo VDM consumption
  • 1972411 - UDF Launchpad
  • 1977133 - Performance improvement for demand modeling data persistence
  • 1975702 - Database procedure proxies with varchar cannot be synchronized
Prerequisites:
  • Please see the Administrator's Guide Demand Data Foundation (DDF) 1.0 on SAP HANA Support Package 02 for DDF pre-installation scenarios.
  • For scenarios where the SAP Customer Activity Repository is included, the SAP Notes 1936727 and 1961815 must be installed.
  • For secenarios where the SAP Customer Activity Repository is not included, the SAP Note 1981340 must be installed.
  • This requires an installation of ABAP in Eclipse or SAP HANA studio with ABAP in Eclipse
  • SAP GUI Logon entry must exist for the target system without Single Sign on being activated for this to work.
  • The ABAP user account to be used must have authorization to use an existing Transport request or to create a new one on the target system.

Solution
To ensure that your DDF 1.0 SAP HANA content is up-to-date and contains all mandatory corrections, apply this correction instruction as follows:
- Apply the prerequisite notes associated with this correction instruction (as identified in the manual pre-implementation steps)
- deploy this correction instruction
- follow the activation instructions as described in the Administrator's Guide Demand Data Foundation (DDF) 1.0 on SAP HANA Support Package 02 based on your installation scenario
- perform the manual post-implementation steps associated with this correction instruction
Optional for the UDF Launchpad:  After installing and activating the SAP HANA content, refer to SAP Note 18363457 for details regarding the installation and configuration of the UDF Launchpad.
Note that the installation procedure for the application function library (AFL) for UDF will change with the release of SAP HANA SPS 08 (for more information, see SAP Notes 2014334 and 2004952). This change only becomes relevant for you if you plan an upgrade to SAP HANA SPS 08. Otherwise you can implement the current support package patch (Demand Data Foundation 1.0 SP01 Patch 1) as described in this SAP Note. Note that SAP HANA SPS 08 is not a prerequisite for DDF 1.0 SP01 Patch 1.
