Reason and Prerequisites

This is a collective note with the reference to all notes that have been released.

 This package is tested and assembled on following software version:

• SAP HANA Platform Edition 1.0 SPS10 Revision 102 or above
• SAP DATA SERVICES 4.2 SP03
• SAP ESP Platform V5.1 SP08 PL01

(Optional) below software is only required when you using other data sources and reporting components:

• SAP BI Platform 4.1 SP02 or higher
• SAP LUMIRA 1.0 latest SP
• SAP IQ Platform 16.0.0.807

Solution

SAP HANA Big Data Intelligence rapid-deployment solution enables your business to leverage semantic (unstructured), event stream and signal intelligence scenarios. The solution provides predefined configuration and integration content for these 4 Scope items:

• Semantic (Sentiment) Intelligence
• Stream Intelligence for Web Stream Analysis
• Signal Intelligence for Real-Time Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance
• Signal Intelligence for Transformer Load Analytics

This solution is the SAP HANA Big Data Intelligence rapid-deployment solution (SP02 Patch 0 for RDS_BDI_CONTENT 1.0) or v3 release, incorporating the above 4 Jump-Starts. The Semantic Jump-start that is incorporated into this release is the replacement of the previously released Sentiment Analysis V3 (see details for V3 via SAP Note: 1801636). If you had already deployed Sentiment Analysis V3 package in your landscape, Semantic Intelligence V2 will be installed into a new schema.



In order to implement the SAP HANA Big Data Intelligence rapid-deployment solution, download and carefully read the attached Quick Guides which will give you all relevant information for implementation. CAUTION: carefully read all related SAP Notes in the Quick Guides.
The SAP HANA Big Data Intelligence rapid-deployment solution includes 3 major parts: preconfigured HANA Models (including preconfigured Fiori web based applications), Data Services Files and ESP Content Files.
Part I: Preconfigured HANA Models - 
All preconfigured HANA Models and Fiori Web base applications are packaged in .tgz files, which could be imported into your HANA box directly. After importing, you need to activate all HANA Models. CAUTION: After importing, you'll need to do some general settings, please refer to Quick Guide and corresponding Configuration Guides



. Also it is not recommended to modify the SAP standard HANA views directly, because it will break the connection with pre-defined Fiori Apps.
Part II: Data Services Files - All preconfigured Data Services files are packaged in .atl file, which could be imported into your Data Services Designer directly.
Part III: ESP Content Files - All preconfigured ESP Content FIles files are packaged in a .zip file, which can be imported into your ESP Server directly.

Known Issues:

• If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) as your browser, we recommend using version IE11 or later, as earlier versions have been found to cause usability and performance issues (see SAP Note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1716423). The Product Availability Matrix (PAM) for SAPUI5 lists ALL supported platforms of ALL control libraries. It does not explain which control library does support which combination of operating system, browser and device.
  
• In SAP HANA SPS08 revisions, when calling AFL PAL wrapper procedure AFL_WRAPPER_GENERATOR, in some cases, one exception will be throw out like "numeric or value error: [1301] "SYSTEM"."AFL_WRAPPER_GENERATOR": line 36 col 13 (at pos 1271): [1301] (range 3) numeric or value error exception". (see SAP NOTE: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2102891).

HADOOP: To load data into HIVE table for Stream Intelligence within the system landscape that has already been installed using the corresponding installation or configuration guides for installation please read the SAP Note 2108769.
