1926664 - TDMS 4.0 on HANA systems for TDTIM and TDTCC ERP packages

Symptom

You are running TDMS 4.0 ERP time based reduction or a  company code reduction solution, where the sender and receiver systems are on HANA DB.

Reason and Prerequisites

TDMS has special handling for cluster tables. Eg: BSEG. However, HANA does not support cluster tables. So TDMS customizing has to be accordingly changed.

Solution

Execute the attached z-report in the TDMS control system. In the selection screen of the report, specify a TDMS ERP time based reduction or company code based reduction package ID for which the sender or receiver is a business suite on HANA system.

1. Go to the transaction se38 in your control system.
2. Enter the program name as 'ZTDMS_HANA' and click create.
3. Copy the program text in the attachment to your report.
4. Save and activate the same.
5. Execute the report.
6. Enter the package number you have created newly to execute in an HANA system.
7. Press F8 and execute.
8. Go ahead with the TDMS migration package if you get no errors.
9. Else contact SAP support.

This will modify the required customization entries in the current package in the control system. So if you are going to execute a new package in the same landscape also for a HANA system you will have to execute the report again for you future package.
