Symptom
When installing BW on HANA system, the following scrrenshot with error information is displayed:
The detailed error message looks like below:
Could not execute 'GRANT SELECT ON SCHEMA _SYS_STATISTICS TO DBA_COCKPIT'
insufficient privilege: Not authorized

Environment
- SAP NW BW 7.30 on HANA SP07 and higher
- SAP NW BW 7.31 on HANA SP04 and higher
- SAP NW BW 7.40 on HANA all SPs
Reproducing the Issue
Use SAPinst to install the BW on HANA landscape, error occurs when executing the 4th step "Execute".
Cause
SAPinst has to grant necessary authorization to the database user
DBA_COOCKPIT, but the user who run SAPinst has insufficent privileges.
Resolution
You need use a HDB admin user to run SAPinst to install BW on HANA.
