Reproducing the Issue
On SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.x server go through the following steps:
- Launch command-line interpreter cmd.exe
- Execute command: reposcan -help
- See there is no HANA type of driver in the output under -dbdriver command-line argument
Cause
Help command of Repository Diagnostic Tool only shows partial supported list of drivers
Resolution
Use the correct HANA type of driver under -dbdriver command-line argument:
reposcan.exe -dbdriver newdbdatabasesubsystem -connect "UID=user;PWD=password;DSN=newdb_HANA;" -dbkey "[[pU0uEMMl.kKJPezTK002bw]]" -inputfrsdir "<BOE_INSTALL_DIR>\FileStore\Input" -outputfrsdir "<BOE_INSTALL_DIR>\FileStore\Output"
