Running CHECK_TABLE_CONSISTENCY on Extended Storage tables may crash the SAP HANA server.

Reason and Prerequisites
On SAP HANA SPS7 Revisions up to 74.04, running the stored procedure
CHECK_TABLE_CONSISTENCY against a virtual table on another database
(Extended Storage) may crash the system.
Solution
To prevent SAP HANA from crashing, avoid running
CHECK_TABLE_CONSISTENCY on virtual tables by explicitly stating the
tables to be checked and excluding virtual tables. See the SAP
HANA Administration Guide for more details.
Note that this does not limit the functionality as CHECK_TABLE_CONSISTENCY is not capable of checking virtual tables.
From SAP HANA Revision 81 and later, the crash does not occur anymore.
