2187638 - Real-time indexing: Process stabilization on case of SAP HANA/TREX connection errors

Symptom

This SAP Note provides the following corrections for real-time indexing:

1. If a technical error occurs during the call of an external resource (application/SAP HANA//TREX), the process is terminated immediately in the future. Until now, the process continued to run, waiting for the unavailable resource to answer. In the case of a temporary error, the process will be scheduled again automatically a few minutes later.
    
2. Bug correction: In very specific constellations, there was an error situation in which the real-time indexing process did not detect that a TREX/SAP HANA connection was restored after temporary unavailability. In this situation, the process continued running without processing any data.
    
3. The maximum process runtime is generally limited to one hour.
   Previously, a real-time indexing job could run up to 24 hours. In future, the job will be terminated after an hour (plus the processing time for the currently processed data packages). If further objects are pending for processing, the job is rescheduled immediately.
     
4. Messages for failed processes in the ESH Cockpit have been improved.

The purpose of these corrections is to make real-time indexing more stable in the case of connection errors.

You must create several new message texts.
To carry out the manual steps, log on to your system with logon language English.

Call transaction SE91: Message Maintenance
Create the following new texts:
Message class ESH_HANA_ADMIN
146(*)  The HANA server could not be reached or has not reacted (DB Conn. &1)
147(*)  Please check the HANA connectivity
160    Connectivity check failed
161    Process cannot continue and will be terminated
162    Real-time indexing will be rescheduled for reexecution in &1 minutes
163    Process will be terminated and a new process will be scheduled
164    Maximum runtime has been reached
165    Reorganization job &1 has been scheduled

Comments:
(*) Text numbers 146 and 147 may already be present in some of the valid Support Packages.
