Symptom
After publishing a Visual Intelligence view to HANA, the view is not
visible as a source to create a new Visual Intelligence document.
Environment
Reproducing the Issue
In an open Visual Intelligence Document that you want to publish:
- Click Share.
- In the left pane select the view which will be shared.
- Click Publish to HANA....
- Enter your logon credentials.
- Click Connect HANA instance.
- Under Browse HANA views select a package where you want to save the view.
- Click Create new view and give it a name.
- Click OK and close the current document.
- Click New Document.
- Select HANA Cube or HANA Cube online.
- Enter your logon credentials.
- Click Connect HANA Instance.
- Under Browse HANA views, look for the view you just saved.
Cause
The HANA user does not have the correct roles and rights to enable them to retrieve the saved content.
Resolution
Grant the correct rights for the affected users using HANA studio by following the instructions in the attached document.
