2240961 - Deployment of SAP Host Agent configurations fails when upgrading HANA database

Symptom

When you upgrade HANA database, upgrade fails at deployment of SAP Host Agent configurations with the following error message.

Environment

HANA 1.0 all revisions

Cause

SAP HANA requires OpenSSL 0.9.8. If OpenSSL 1.x is already installed you need to downgrade to OpenSSL 0.9.8.

Resolution

For running SAP HANA you may need Openssl version 0.9.8.

• On SLES12 this version of OpenSSL is provided with the libopenssl version 0.9.8 package available via the so called Legacy Module for x86_64. 
• On RHEL you need to install the openssl098e package.
