Symptom
In Lumira Desktop when selecting the Connect to HANA or Download from HANA option the Audit Log tables are not displayed.
Environment
- SAP Lumira Desktop SP 20
- SAP HANA Rev 82
Reproducing the Issue
- In Lumira Desktop SP 20 select the Connect to HANA or Download from HANA option and enter your HANA server credentials.
- Look through list of objects returned and the Audit_Log tables are not displayed.
Cause
This is because when selecting Connect to HANA or Download from HANA options Lumira can only connect to analytic views.
Resolution
Lumira Desktop can connect to HANA through JDBC. In Lumira Desktop:
- Select New Document.
- Select Query with SQL.
- Select SAP HANA database 1.0 - JDBC Drivers
- HANA or database 1.0 - JDBC Drivers.
- Enter your connection logon information.
- Under the SYS package you will now see the SYS_AUDIT logs.
