1999104 - Problem in loading datetime to HANA synonym - Data Services

Symptom

Loading datetime to a HANA synonym gets the millisecond part truncated (000000000).

Environment

• Data Services 4.1
• Data Services 4.2
• HANA

Cause

The issue has been identified and logged under Problem Report ID ADAPT01722615.
HANA synonym is not supported prior to Data Services 4.2 SP4.

Resolution

Upgrade DS to 4.2 SP4 to get HANA synonym support.
Workaround: Don’t use synonym as target table.
