New ACH Top Level component HAN- since March 2014
The Application Component Hierarchy for HANA Platform Components has grown over the last years. End of 2013 existed about 65 components - spread across several components in the ACH including BC-CTS, BC-DB, BC-HAN, BW-SYS.
It was difficult for customers and SAP Support engineers to identify the correct component e.g. to report an incident for HANA Platform support.
With the ACH Update in 1Q2014 we introduce the new top component "HAN-" for SAP HANA and a new structure of components below. The changes shall be valid as of 3 March 2014. The description below shows the new (valid from March 2014) and old ACH names.

Component BW-SYS-DB-HDB
A component for each of the SAP HANA database engines is now created below HAN-DB-ENG. The component for the BW Engine for BW specific issues can now be found as HAN-DB-ENG-BW (previous name: BW-SYS-DB-HDB).
