2161475 - When attempting to test a HANA connection in the CMC receive error "Connection Failed: You must be logged on as Administrator to test the SAML connection. (FWM 02135) "

Symptom
Logged into the CMC with an administrator account other than the actual built in "Administrator" all tests in teh CMC > Applications > HANA Authentication will fail with the errror "Connection Failed: You must be logged on as Administrator to test the SAML connection. (FWM 02135)"


Environment
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.1 all SP's


Reproducing the Issue
  1. Login to CMC with any administrator account except the built in "Administrator"
  2. go to Applications > HANA authentication
  3. Test any username (good or bad) and the error will be received "Connection Failed: You must be logged on as Administrator to test the SAML connection. (FWM 02135)"


Cause
apparently that section in the CMC requires the built in Administrator to use, and other administrators cannot test HANA accounts. Note they can created and perform all other relevent steps just not testing....


Resolution
When testing HANA connections ensure you are logged in with the built in "Administrator" account
