Symptom
Release Information Note for Software Update Manager (SUM) for SAP HANA 1.0 SP5
During self update SP3->SP5 or higher if you receive the following error:
sap.lm.hana.application.zip!/.
com.sap.lm.lmtp.selfupdate.SelfUpdateException: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core.ProvisionException: No repository found at jar:file:/usr/sap/trans/SUMForHana/SUMHANA05_0/repository/com.sap.lm.hana.application.zip!/.

Used to perform self update of SUM for SAP HANA SP03 to SP05 or higher
1. Download SUM SP5 patch 0 or higher from Service Marketplace.
SUM is available at http://service.sap.com/swdc -> Support Packages and Patches -> A-Z Index -> Letter "S" -> SL TOOLSET -> SL TOOLSET 1.0 -> Entryby Component -> SUM for SAP HANA
2. Log on as <sid>adm user and copy downloaded archive into a temporary directory and extract it via SAPCAR. The temporary directory will be erased on completion. After the extraction check that the file SIGNATURE.SMF has size greater than zero and contains some information.
If the file is empty you should update to the latest SAPCAR version that supports signed files and extract the archive again.
3. Navigate to <temporary directory>/exe subdirectory and execute the following command as <sid>adm user /bin/sh selfupdate.sh.
No additional parameters are required. For help information type:
/bin/sh selfupdate.sh -h
Backup of old SUM version will be created in:
/usr/sap/<SID>/SUM/backup
4. Check log files for errors:
/usr/sap/<SID>/SUM/log/*
