During 2015 the product name and numbering of product versions of SAP Simple Finance add-on was changed.
You need more information on these changes in order to avoid confusion and ensure that you  are referring to the correct product information.

Reason and Prerequisites

During 2015 the product name and numbering of product versions of the SAP Simple Finance add-on 2.0 was changed.
The switch to the new naming is done in several steps:

• The name change to SAP Simple Finance, on-premise edition 1503 was completed in related documents as of the Support Package stack delivered in August 2015
  (i.e. in documents like PAM, SWDC, SAP Service Marketplace (SMP), SAP Help Portal, Administrator's and Configuration Guides, SAP Notes, Application Help, Release Notes, Security Guide, Migration Guide, system texts, EKT presentations)
• The successor release (planned for 2016) will be named SAP S/4HANA Finance, on-premise edition
• Where no specific product version (=release) is referenced the name SAP S/4HANA Finance, on-premise edition is used as of Q4 2015
• Similarily SAP S/4HANA Finance denotes the Finance applications included in the recently released product SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1511

SAP Simple Finance, on-premise edition 1503 SPS 03 (11/2015)

In more detail:
A) Change of Product Names
The product name of the finance add-on has been changed to a simpler and shorter name, which now includes the deployment model (on-premise) to avoid confusion with cloud products.
When you install the SAP Simple Finance on-premise edition, the classic Finance applications of SAP ERP are replaced. Therefore, the addition of "add-on" to the old product name could be confusing.

For an intermediate period in time during 2015 also Support Package stack numbers had been changed to reflect the month/year of availability. This change was reverted back to the former schema in order to avoid confusion with the above product version numbers.

• SAP Accounting powered by SAP HANA and SAP Cash Management powered by SAP HANA are applications included in the SAP Simple Finance, on-premise edition - names unchanged.
• SFIN, SFINANCIALS are used as (part of) technical names as before.
• The name and version number of SAP Simple Finance add-on 1.0 will not be changed retroactively.
• Smart Financials, Simplified Financials are obsolete (code) names of the same product and are no longer used.
