Reproducing the Issue

1. Automated data protection required for SAP HANA environment.
2. A method to back up data on SAP HANA Applicance is necessary.

Cause

• Improve the availability of SAP HANA
• Reduce the administration workload on SAP HANA Appliance

Resolution

1. There is specific version of TSM certified for SAP HANA.
2. According to the Partner Information Center (see URL) Interface for Tivoli Storage Manager for Enterprise 6.4 is available.
