2086192 - All Custom Calculations are not available in Analysis for Olap connecting to SAP HANA

Symptom

Only four basic function Summation, Subtraction, Division and Multiplication is enabled for Analysis for OLAP connecting to SAP HANA

Environment

• SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.x
• Analysis edition for OLAP
• SAP Hana

Reproducing the Issue

1. Create a Olap connection with Provider as SAP HANA.
2. Create Analysis for Olap Edition Workspace pointing to SAP HANA Connection.
3. In Analyze tab navigate to Calculations sub tab and select Custom Calculations.
4. Under function drop down only four basic functions are available those are Summation,Division,Multiplication and Subtraction

    5. Creating Anlaysis for Olap workspace based on BW source have all Custom Calculations.

Resolution

• This is an expected behavior with SAP HANA.
• All Custom functions are available only for SAP BW data source.
