2130343 - Input control "tree list" in WebI can not be used for hierarchies based on HANA

Symptom

• Input control "tree list" of webI is grey and can not be selected for hierarchies based on HANA

Environment

• SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.0 (BI 4.0)
• SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.1 (BI 4.1)
• Web Intelligence (WebI)
• Information Design Tool (IDT)
• HANA

Reproducing the Issue

1. Create a relational connection of HANA database in IDT.
2. Create data foundation based on above connection in IDT.
3. Create business layer based on above data foundation and use cascading lists of values for hierarchies in IDT.
4. Publish above business layer.
5. Create WebI with above universe and run query with prompts of hierarchical data.
6. Input control "tree list" is grey and cannot be selected.

Cause

Input control "tree list" is implemented in BI 4.0 Feature Pack3, which allows cascading of multi input controls for OLAP unx and BICS connections and does not apply to relational databases as of yet.

Resolution

Input control "tree list" in WebI can not be used for hierarchies based on HANA.
