Reason and Prerequisites
You want to use the SAP HANA database in the Fujitsu FlexFrame Orchestrator (FFO) solution.
Solution
FFO for the SAP HANA DB is supported if you note the following:
1. The SAP HANA DB must generally be started and stopped with FFO SAP Services scripts as is usually the case in FFO
ff_service.sh ……. --action start/stop
2. If you use HANA tools (for example SAP HANA Studio) or manual actions such as HDB start/stop, backup, restore or upgrade,
you must previously switch off the high availability of the FlexFrame agents using No-watch or activate it again using Watch.
Otherwise, this can lead to unintended responses of the FlexFrame agent.
ff_service.sh ……. --action Watch/No-watch
3. For an SAP HANA DB installation or upgrade, you must generally observe the Fujitsu FFO guides in addition to the SAP documents.
(FFO Administration and Operation.pdf, FFO-SAP_Installation_Guide.pdf)
4. The SAP HANA DB default mount points /hana/shared/<SID>, /hana/data/<SID>/mnt00001, /hana/log/<SID>/mnt00001
are FlexFrame-specific links to: /hana_shared/<SID>, /hana_data/<SID>...., /hana_log/<SID>.....

In addition, the HANA TDI descriptions, including the performance specifications and tools (HWCCT,FStest,FSperf), of SAP or the hardware manufacturers (for example, NetApp) always apply.
The specifications of a HANA TDI must be fulfilled accordingly.
