Symptom
This SAP Note contains SAP Release Informationen for the Application Function Library SDK for SAP HANA (SAP HANA AFL SDK).
An SAP HANA AFL Support Package ("SP" or "revision") is delivered via the SAP Service Marketplace for the product SAP HANA AFL SDK.
The initial delivery of the SAP HANA AFL SDK occurs at the same time as the SAP HANA database SPS 08 Revision 80.
A new SAP HANA database SPS8 revision does not require simultaneous updating of the SAP HANA AFL SDK.
Both products will continue to be developed separately from each other. Any validity issues and dependencies for an SAP HANA AFL SDK Support Package and an SAP HANA database are documented with the delivery of an SAP HANA AFL SDK Support Package.

1) Incorrect description in the file demos/intro/README
The directory names in the section "6) Prepare the directory structure in your HANA server" are incorrect. The correct description is as follows:
Login to your HANA server as the user <sid>adm and execute the following commands, whereby you must replace ${HANA_SDK_VENDOR_NAME} and ${HANA_SDK_AFL_NAME} with the same values as in section "5) Write a manifest file":
