Bypass Validation
This flag is available as checkbox in Delivery Unit Import dialog and Activation dialog as well.
When this check box is selected, the validation rules that are selected in Modeler (Windows->Preferences->Modeler->Validation Rules) are run before performing activation. When not selected, these validation rules are not executed. The objects are directly activated.
When 'Importing Delivery Unit', this flag can be turned on in default as the validation rules need not be executed.

Activating objects through Navigator and Quick Launch
- When a single object is or set of objects are selected for activation, the activation dialog shows up listing all inactive objects on the left side, with the currently selected object(s) already selected on the right side along with the required objects of the currently selected object(s) when their status is 'inactive'.
- When activation option selected from a package or from 'content' node or from Quick Launch, the activation dialog shows up listing all inactive objects on the left side, with 'all' inactive objects already selected on the right side.
Activating objects through Editor
- Currently opened object is in 'inactive' state
- When selecting 'Save and Activate', the currently opened object is activated without bringing an activation popup. The required objects that are in status 'inactive' are not included in activation list.
- When selecting 'Save and Activate All', the currently opened object along with its required objects that are currently available in status 'inactive' are preselected for activation in activation dialog.
- Currently opened object is in 'active' state
- The object is redeployed.
