You create a workspace with transaction rswsp.

Reason and Prerequisites
The workspaces should be created and maintained only in connection with a Business Warehouse Accelerator (BWA) or with SAP HANA.
This is specified as a prerequisite in the documentation of the workspaces.
If SAP HANA is not available, the RFC connection to the BWA may not have been maintained yet.
In this case, it should not be possible to start transaction rswsp or rswspw cannot and the system should issue an error message that describes the missing prerequisite.

Solution
This SAP Note implements a test to check whether the BWA or SAP HANA
connections exist and if they don't, the system returns an error message
and prevents the transaction from being started.
